ENGAGE

Building Confidence, Belonging and Positive School Transitions

Building Confidence, Belonging and Positive School Transitions

Building Confidence, Belonging and Positive School Transitions

Two teenagers smiling and shaking hands outdoors.

ENGAGE is Positive Journeys' early intervention and transition programme, designed to support young people at key points in their educational journey.

Whether moving from primary to secondary school, returning after a period of absence, struggling to settle into a new environment, or facing barriers to engagement, ENGAGE helps young people develop the confidence, resilience and connections they need to thrive.

We believe that when young people feel seen, supported and connected, they are far more likely to attend, participate and succeed.

Why ENGAGE?

Many young people experience challenges during periods of transition or change. These challenges can impact:

  • Attendance
  • Confidence
  • Friendships and belonging
  • Emotional wellbeing
  • Behaviour and engagement
  • Future aspirations

ENGAGE provides structured support before issues escalate, helping schools create positive pathways for young people who may be at risk of disengagement.
